Our Orchard

BrynTeg Farm Apple Orchard

We have an established orchard and continue to plant trees to maintain our orchard in years to come. We now have apple, cherry, and peach trees.

  • A: No. We use an integrated pest management program on our apples, which means our apples and cherries are minimally treated with sprays (only four or five times a year). The orchard is also fed with foliar feeding of energized water and kelp/fish emulsion, as needed. For our peach trees, we have not treated them with sprays to date. Please be assured, our other fruits, herbs, and vegetables are free of synthetic pesticides and chemicals.

  • A: There are often small imperfections on the apples because the trees are only minimally treated.

  • A: No. We hand press our cider, and it is raw and unpasteurized. Delicious!

  • A: No, not at this time.

KinderKrisp: Ready late August or early September. It is a small-sized apple that is sweet, juicy, and crispy. It is a great snack or lunch apple.

Snow (Fameuse): Ripens mid September. This small to medium sized apple has a sweet taste (with a supposed strawberry-like aroma). It has antique apple status.
