This FARM Coloring Book is dedicated in loving memory of Farmer Gary, who passed away in 2022. Every page was drawn and created by Bretta Butterfly. No AI. No computer-generated images. In fact, even some of the font was created using our Farmer Gary’s handwriting. He had a unique style. Many of the pages that share life lessons from our dad’s life are written using this font.

The inspiration for all fruit, herbs, and veggies came from our family’s farm. Almost 10 years ago, Bretta Butterfly took the summer and drew every produce item in that summer’s CSA veggie boxes. Years later she used those drawings as inspiration to create this coloring and inking book.

Why did she decide to make a coloring book? There are a couple of reasons. First, this was a creative way to honor the life of Farmer Gary. Second, it was an unique way to make garden art available to more art-loving individuals and families.
