Meet our Artist: Bretta Butterfly

Bretta Butterfly is Farmer Caryl's daughter and Farmer-in-training Tara's sister. Bretta lives in Australia with her husband Stephan. They moved to Australia in 2021. 

Bretta's gift of drawing was discovered when she was a young girl. Throughout childhood and young adulthood, her family, aunt, and other art teachers encouraged her as she grew in her creativity and art pursuit. She flourished. 

Nature became her favorite subject matter. From butterflies to waterfalls. From veggies to birds. From fungi to caterpillars, which find their way into almost every one of her art pieces. 

Her detailed, nature art graces the front of notecards, bookmarks, and ornaments, as well as original pieces for wall display. Over the last several years, she created and published drawing guides of various flora. Desiring to make her art available to more creative-seeking adults and children, she introduced a Coloring & Inking Book series.
