Apples - IdaRed

Apples - IdaRed
Bag of IdaRed Apples
Bright red outer skin
Sweetly Tart with a tangy flavor (a perfect balance of sweet-tart)
Medium to large apple
Pale and yellowish flesh (and sometimes with a rosy, red tint)
A very firm and crisp apple
Delicious snacking apple! This is one of our personal favorites!
Good option for all types of cooking and baking, and a good keeper. If you cook the apples with the skins on, you'll get a pink color sauce or dessert.
Developed in 1935 at the Idaho Agricultural Experiment Station in Moscow, Idaho. (Can you guess where the "Ida" part of the name came from?) It was released in 1942.
A cross between a Jonathan and Wegener
And as a reminder, minor imperfections are always present because our apples are only minimally sprayed. Due to 2026 weather and growing conditions, some of our apples have russeting.
