Chives for Dinner, Right?
See all the chives!?!
Normally our restaurants are ordering them this time of year. But, rather, we are offering them to you through our online farm store. If you want, your whole dinner could be chives! Seriously!
Dear Farm Friends,
The rain showers this week watered the ground with planted seeds and transplants. Of course, when the seeds get watered, so do the weeds. In no time we will be adding weeding to our list of responsibilities. The seeds are starting to germinate and poke through the soil reaching for the sun. Asparagus spears are starting to push up and will be snapped off. Chives are waving in the wind and ready to be cut.
And... finally... we have new farm-fresh produce items in our online farm store this week. Asparagus. Chives. Spring onions. Enjoy!
Your Farmer,
Caryl
P.S. Plus, we made connections with a local coffee roaster. You'll like this addition to our online farm store!
